CALLSIGN Magazine
Immersing You in the Adrenaline-Fueled World of
Military Aviation.
CALLSIGN Magazine is an American military aviation magazine founded in 2023 by military writer and photojournalist Alan De Herrera. CALLSIGN publishes long-form military articles, first-person pilot narratives, and interviews with military pilots, air crew and commanders, released on a rolling digital schedule alongside legacy print editions. Regular coverage includes the U.S. Marine Corps AV-8 Harrier and its squadrons, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the USAF KC-10 Extender, naval aviation aboard U.S. Navy ships, and military flight test.
Through our immersive journalism style, we embed with military squadrons taking the reader on an adrenaline-fueled journey into the raw, unfiltered passion that drives these aviators. With an unparalleled commitment to firsthand access, photographic craft, and editorial depth, CALLSIGN reads more like a coffee-table archive than a traditional article, redefining what legacy aviation storytelling can be.
CALLSIGN Publishing, its digital magazine platform, and our upcoming high-quality legacy print editions, are built for the aviator, the historian, and the enthusiast who demand the real story. Our content delivers compelling national and international stories, features, and interviews.
