Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
CALLSIGN Magazine publishes military aviation journalism at callsignmagazine.com. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We collect very little.
Who we are
CALLSIGN Magazine is published by CALLSIGN Publishing in the United States. Questions about this policy, or about information we hold about you, go to editor@callsignmagazine.com.
What we collect
Your email address. If you join our mailing list, we collect the address you enter. We use it to send new articles, project updates, and occasional news about the Harrier Legacy Project and other CALLSIGN releases. We do not sell, rent, or trade our list.
Donation details. If you make a donation, we collect your email address and the amount you give. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored on our servers or shown to us. We keep donation records as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Standard technical information. Like most websites, this site records your IP address, browser and device type, the page that referred you, and the pages you view. Squarespace, our website platform, collects this for security and basic traffic analytics. We read it in aggregate, to understand which stories readers are reading.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Squarespace. Some are strictly necessary and keep the site secure. Others support basic analytics, such as counting unique and returning visitors. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working correctly if you do.
Who handles information for us
A small number of vendors help us run this site and process data on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy: Squarespace, for hosting, forms, email delivery, and analytics; Stripe, for donation payments; and Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms from automated abuse.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Beyond the vendors listed above, we disclose information only where the law requires it.
Your choices
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time. You may also write to editor@callsignmagazine.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. Readers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California have specific statutory rights over their personal information. We honor these requests for every reader, wherever you live.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and note material changes on the site.
